5 Signs That Your Bra Does Not Fit Properly

We all know the importance of a well fitting bra not only to ensure the most flattering shape but also for comfort. But it isn’t always as easy as that!
What are the signs of then that your bra does NOT fitting properly?
Here are 5 signs to look out for:

Sign #1
If your bra rises up in the back it is a sign the bra is not fitting properly. It is normally due to the fact that the bra band is too big. What is more, if this is happening weight of your bust is not being supported.

Sign #2
If you feel like your shoulders are being pulled down or you are hunching forward or if you suffer a lot of shoulder pain then this is a sign that your bra is not the correct size.

Sign #3
If your breasts are not being supported by the bra then they will be ‘falling down’. They should be sitting up in a central position on your chest. Other visual clues that the bra cups are not helping support your bust is if the cups are too big and wrinkle or the cups are too small and your breast spill over the top.

Sign #4
If the straps of bra slide down your shoulders or leave red marks in your flesh, your bra is probably too big around the bust and too small in the cup area.

Sign #5
If you feel the underwire of your bra digging in then your bra is not fitting you properly. Your underwire should lie flat against the chest and fit your entire breast without poking or prodding you.

Poor fitting bra

Are you experiencing the above sign?

Most importantly, you should feel good in your bra. The correct fitting bra can make you feel sexy and confident.

Start shopping for the right bra now…

Avoid Nail Damage with Proper Gel-Polish Removal

“Gel-polish should come off easily with no heavy-handed or forceful scraping,” says Doug Schoon, president of Schoon Scientific and renowned nail industry chemist. “If you have to force the product off at all, you are doing something wrong.”

Incorrect removal would cause pits, cracks, and scrapes on your nail plates, often appearing as small white spots on the nails. And many nail technicians are failing to identify this as a problem.

According to OPI chief scientist Paul Bryson, the most common reason why nail plates are injured during a soak-off gel removal is because nail technicians do not let the product soak long enough to fully break the bond to the natural nail.

White spots on nails after a gel-polish removal are the tell-tale sign that the gel-polish was removed with too much force and that damage has been done to the natural nail plate.

But acetone is not the problem causing these weakened nails. “You can soak nails in acetone all day and you won’t see any white spots,” says Schoon. “The whole nail might look dry if you leave it in there for days, but the acetone is not the issue. It’s when nail techs see that these gels are not coming off after 12 minutes and they’re just scraping them off.”

Is your nail technician doing the right way when she removes your gel polish?

Want to hide you’re the body part you hate?

Tips on how to wear swimsuit.

Muffin Top?
We give you one word: Lycra. If you have a big belly, then lycra is your new best friend. Look for swimwear with at least 10% to 20% Lycra on the fabric tag. It acts as girdle, and will hold you in without making you uncomfortable. You can also play tricks on the eye with color. Why not try a suit with a brightly-colored top and darker bottom to draw the eye above your waistline. Keep your silhouette streamlined and avoid anything with a belt or sash, which will only add bulk, and instead opt for something with draping or ruching around the middle to hide and flatten the bulge.

Bottom Heavy?
Color is important here, so be sure to opt for a suit with a dark bottom. A diagonal cut at the thigh will slim your derrière and flatter your figure.  Tankini’s and boy shorts are the ideal styles for this. For something a bit more ‘flirty’ you could even try a Skirted style. Choose swimwear with details or a pattern at the top. This takes the focus off the butt area.

Overflowing Bust?
If you hate the idea of feeling overly voluptuous on the beach, then consider swimwear that has spandex in the material. Make sure that the sides give you coverage too; you don’t want to be spilling out.  If your problem is that you need a lot of support in this area, only buy suits with a built-in bra; this feature minimizes bounce and wobbly bits, and will keep you much more comfortable and supported.  Also make sure you opt for something with supportive straps too, avoid straps that are too thin. The most supportive shapes are halter-necks or straight, square-shaped necklines.

Big Hips?
This time it’s all about leading the eye away from the hips. We want to push those eyes up!  The best kind of plus size swimwear for big hips, is anything with a keyhole neck, bold, bright prints on the upper part or contrasting stripes or straps. Avoid belted or boy short styles at all costs. Again opt for darker colors on the bottom. Do everything you can to make your top half louder and stand out more than the bottom half, this will give the effect of balancing out your figure.
