Want to hide you’re the body part you hate?

Tips on how to wear swimsuit.

Muffin Top?
We give you one word: Lycra. If you have a big belly, then lycra is your new best friend. Look for swimwear with at least 10% to 20% Lycra on the fabric tag. It acts as girdle, and will hold you in without making you uncomfortable. You can also play tricks on the eye with color. Why not try a suit with a brightly-colored top and darker bottom to draw the eye above your waistline. Keep your silhouette streamlined and avoid anything with a belt or sash, which will only add bulk, and instead opt for something with draping or ruching around the middle to hide and flatten the bulge.

Bottom Heavy?
Color is important here, so be sure to opt for a suit with a dark bottom. A diagonal cut at the thigh will slim your derrière and flatter your figure.  Tankini’s and boy shorts are the ideal styles for this. For something a bit more ‘flirty’ you could even try a Skirted style. Choose swimwear with details or a pattern at the top. This takes the focus off the butt area.

Overflowing Bust?
If you hate the idea of feeling overly voluptuous on the beach, then consider swimwear that has spandex in the material. Make sure that the sides give you coverage too; you don’t want to be spilling out.  If your problem is that you need a lot of support in this area, only buy suits with a built-in bra; this feature minimizes bounce and wobbly bits, and will keep you much more comfortable and supported.  Also make sure you opt for something with supportive straps too, avoid straps that are too thin. The most supportive shapes are halter-necks or straight, square-shaped necklines.

Big Hips?
This time it’s all about leading the eye away from the hips. We want to push those eyes up!  The best kind of plus size swimwear for big hips, is anything with a keyhole neck, bold, bright prints on the upper part or contrasting stripes or straps. Avoid belted or boy short styles at all costs. Again opt for darker colors on the bottom. Do everything you can to make your top half louder and stand out more than the bottom half, this will give the effect of balancing out your figure.

Wear the monochrome stripes trend this spring with confidence

Ever wanted to wear stripes but felt they were not flattering or made you appear bigger? With stripes becoming a season trend for 2013, how can you add them to your fashion wardrobe and wear them with confidence? The Daily Mail has compiled a guide on how to wear stripes for every body shape.
Black and white stripes are a hot season trend for this spring. Any thickness and direction goes, but stripes it is! And they are featuring on everything for every occasion. But plus size women can be wary wearing stripes as they can create illusions of size.

Curvy Stripes trend
If you have a curvy figure, according to the Daily Mail, you should wear subtle horizontal stripes and break it up with a block color. They recommend horizontal striped tops teamed with block color trousers for a sharp, flattering, trendy look.

Busty Stripes trend
If you have a bust figure then vertical stripes will look very flattering as they create an elongated and thinning look. You could mix and match stripes by adding vertical stripes on the bottom half to balance out your figure.

Pear Stripes trend
Pear shapes would look great wearing wider vertical stripes on the top combined with plain block colors on the bottom of an outfit such as trousers or skirts.
